Farming is an interesting job. Plant the seed now, harvest after Mother Nature takes course. The wrong weather at the wrong time can be detrimental. However, the right weather at the right time can prove to be good business. What's in store for our crops in the next three months is unexpected, but the unknown is the best part of this job.
So Saturday morning brings good news for J. Marchini Farms. It's a cold day in March and spring is right around the corner. NEWS!!!!! all spring radicchio plants have been put in the ground and they look wonderful. In just two months we will harvest this radicchio for our customers around the globe. The planning and effort of a farming operation is amazing. So now, you rainy clouds... give us some more water!
