Management

Joe Marchini
President

Since childhood, Joe has loved to farm. His first venture was at the age of thirteen when he started Marchini Ramirez, growing tomatoes. Over the last 55 years Joe has continued to do what he loves, putting all of his energy into every task. In 1989, Joe began his most successful business venture by starting J. Marchini & Son with his son Jeff. At first, Joe was involved with many parts of the farming process. Then in 1995 he became involved with the Minturn Nut Company, concentrating on the exportation of almonds to Europe. Joe has always been one to have his hands on something new, constantly growing new varieties of vegetables that no one else has. In his free time, Joe enjoys cooking for charity dinners and political functions. He is part of the Minturn Nut Board of Directors and Minturn Huller Board of Directors.

Jeff Marchini

Jeff's love for farming started at a young age, working weekends and summers for his father and uncle. He began working for Marchini Brothers after attending Fresno State, where he studied Ag Business. In 1985, Jeff began playing with radicchio. He personally delivered his first load of twenty cartons to San Francisco and has been a grower ever since. In 1989, Jeff and his father started J. Marchini & Son, which has been called the original radicchio growers in the United States. Jeff is currently the head of radicchio production and long-term planning.  He is currently President of the Merced Farm Bureau and on the Board of Directors of Le Grand Union High School and Minturn Nut Company.
