Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh figs ripe

  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Directions

  1. Cut the figs into quarters. Place the cut fig and white sugar in a saucepan and cook over high heat until there is a boil.

  2. Add lemon juice and water and let simmer on low to medium heat for about 20-25 minutes or until the fruit is soft and it is a thick mixture.

  3. Place in the food processor and blend until the jam is smooth.

  4. Place in jar and keep in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
